first and foremost, we are super excited you’re reading our blog!!
we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and become your new best friends. so here’s the story.
once upon a time there were these two kids in a college in north texas. one was a little weirder than the other. first encounter is as follows:
kid #1: um, you don’t know me….but….duuuuude…..you have really amazing bone structure…..soo….
kid #2:*silence*
fast forward a couple semesters to a choir trip to NYC. (kid #1 is still a little strange.)
kid #1: omg, i’ve been here, like…twice before, and i totally know where times square is and i’m totally gonna live here one day.
kid #2: yea…i’m totally gonna live here too.
kid #1: oh really? we should be roomies!
kid #2: yea? okay…
kid #1: we should probably be best friends first.
kid #2: yea, okay…
fast forward a couple more years and a series of fateful events, and surprise surprise, kid #1 and kid #2 are best friends and roomies in new yoowk citaaay! they were living the dream……overworked, broke, exhausted and creatively stifled. then kid #2 decides to help a friend move and volunteered to help them decorate their new apartment!
*insert hallelujah chorus*
so these two kids vomit pent-up creativity all over this incredible upper west side apartment and guess what? it turned out pretty fucking amazing.
kid #2, the dreamer in this duo, says: hmph….we should do this.
kid #1: what, decorate? psha…..yea….. okay….
and so they did.
fast forward three years and here we are.
all of that to say, we love people. and we love the opportunity to read a person’s brain and feel their and heart and figure out who and why they are the way that they are. and interior design is this really cool medium to communicate someone’s life and heart visually and aesthetically.
so, hello new friend. we hope we get to meet you and love on you and help you express your essence in your home. or give some words of advice. or spark your creativity. or make you think, or laugh or love a little more.
